Job Summary
Assist physicians in a dermatology/cosmetic surgery setting, providing quality patient care and supporting clinical operations. Maintain patients' medical records, review medical history, obtain appropriate consents, call in prescriptions, schedule surgeries, and obtain pre-authorizations. Travel with the provider to up to eight locations; must be a certified surgical tech with dermatology experience. Requires CPR certification, knowledge of vital signs, sterile technique, medical terminology, and computer literacy; strong teamwork and dedication to patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a CERTIFIED SURGICAL TECH
- At least one year of Dermatology experience
- Surgical Experience REQUIRED
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of vital signs
- Working knowledge of dermatologic surgery and sterile technique
- Must have knowledge of medical terminology and be computer literate
- Must be a team player and dedicated to patient care
- Must be available to travel up to 8 locations with the Provider, mileage is included!
