Job Summary
Assist the surgeon and nurse in ophthalmology surgical procedures. Prepare the operating room, maintain a sterile field, and manage instruments and supplies per AORN standards. Pass instruments to the surgeon and assistants, observe aseptic technique, and help with setting up and arranging supplies. Responsible for maintaining inventory of supplies and ensuring all instruments and materials are available for procedures. Overtime may be required. Required Qualifications
- One or more years of related work experience in the operating room is required.
- Certification is a plus!
