Job Summary
Prepare the operating room, set up surgical equipment and instruments, and maintain a sterile environment for various procedures. Assist the surgical team, adapt quickly to new routines, and contribute directly to patient healing. Maintain aseptic fields, assess surgeon needs, and respond to crisis or emergency situations calmly. Take emergency calls as scheduled and interact with patient care personnel professionally. Requires one year of surgical technology experience and BLS-CPR certification. Full-time or part-time roles available with $10k relocation assistance for eligible new hires.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- One (1) year of surgical technology experience
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider - (BLS-CPR)
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Windows
- Must possess adaptability
- Must possess a strong team-player mindset
- Must possess enthusiasm for supporting complex surgical procedures
- Must be able to maintain aseptic field
- Must be able to organize and achieve quality performance levels in new routines and procedures
- Must be able to interact and assist other surgical services patient care delivery personnel in a positive professional manner
- Must be able to take emergency call as scheduled
- Must be able to respond to crisis or emergency situations in a calm and professional manner
Desired Qualifications
- Cardiac Surgery Service team only: CVOR experience
