Job Summary
Assist the surgical team during procedures by preparing and maintaining the sterile field, passing instruments, and ensuring surgical equipment is available and functioning properly. Scrub service lines including robotics, vascular, endovascular, general, neuro/spine, orthopedics, and complex plastic cases while providing routine patient care under supervision. Maintain strong communication skills and the ability to multitask independently. Requires Certified Surgical Technician (NBSTSA) certification, BLS Healthcare Provider Certification, and 2–3 years of experience in a main OR. Day shift part-time role with on-call and holiday rotation.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Surgical Technician training program from and accredited school
- 2 3 years of experience in a main OR
- Certified Surgical Technician (NBSTSA)
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification with American Heart Association
- Day shift
- Part Time
- On call required
- Holiday call on rotation
- Strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, general, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)
- Must be flexible, able to multitask and be able to work independently
