Job Summary
Scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, general, neuro/spine, orthopedics, and complex plastic cases. Prepare and maintain the sterile field, pass instruments, and ensure surgical equipment is available and functioning properly during procedures. Assist the surgical team and provide routine patient care activities under the supervision of nurses and physicians. Maintain strong communication skills and the ability to multitask while working independently. This day shift, part-time role requires on-call rotation and holiday coverage. Candidates must hold a Certified Surgical Technician (NBSTSA) certification and current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Surgical Technician training program from and accredited school
- 2 3 years of experience in a main OR
- Certified Surgical Technician (NBSTSA)
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification with American Heart Association
- Day shift
- Part Time
- On call required
- Holiday call on rotation
- Strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, general, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)
- Must be flexible, able to multitask and be able to work independently
