Job Summary
Surgical Technician (Certified) provides high-quality care in the surgical suites under supervision, assists surgeon, maintains aseptic technique, sterilizes instruments, cleans operating areas, updates preference cards, verifies patient identity and procedure, and participates in equipment evaluation and supply handling; requires NBSTSA CST or TS-C or NCCT TS credential and a technical certificate from an accredited Surgical Technologist program; preferred 1-3 years of surgical experience; day shift in Pierre, SD.
Required Qualifications
- Technical Certificate Graduate from an Accredited Surgical Technologist Program
- Certified Surgical Tech (CST) - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
- Tech in Surgery (TS-C) - National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
