Job Summary
Performs scrub duties in the operating room under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and Surgeon. Scrubs for all types of surgical procedures while maintaining sterile technique. Monitors and obtains supplies for the operating room and central supply. Six months surgical scrub experience preferred. Certifications include BLS and compliance with mandatory reporting policies; Graduate of an accredited Surgery Technician program with a current Surgical Technician certificate or diploma. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Surgery Technician program
- Current Surgical Technician certificate or diploma
- Current certifications in BLS and Adult/Child Abuse Mandatory Reporting or completion according to hospital Education Policy
