Job Summary
Assist physicians in providing quality patient care by maintaining medical records, reviewing histories, obtaining consents, and calling in prescriptions. Schedule surgeries, obtain pre-authorizations, and perform patient callbacks while adhering to sterile technique and vital sign protocols. Travel up to 8 locations with the provider, with mileage included. This role requires a certified surgical technician with at least one year of dermatology experience and required surgical experience.
Required Qualifications
- MUST BE A CERTIFIED SURGICAL TECH
- At least one year of Dermatology experience
- Surgical Experience REQUIRED
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of vital signs is required
- Working knowledge of dermatologic surgery and sterile technique
- Must have knowledge of medical terminology
- Must be computer literate
- Must be a team player
- Must be dedicated to patient care
- Must be available to travel up to 8 locations with the Provider
Desired Qualifications
- Cosmetic and Plastic Surgical Experience PREFERRED
