Job Summary
Part-time Surgical Technician weekends at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital (Mass General Brigham) in Dover, NH, 24 hours per weekend (Sat-Sun, 7a-7p). Responsibilities include setting up the operating room, preparing and transporting patients for surgery, passing instruments to surgeons, maintaining sterile conditions, assisting with tissue handling and counts, and participating as an active member of the Patient Care Team. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent; NH Medical Tech license required; BLS required; CST or CSFA preferred; 2-3 years of surgical technologist experience in an acute care setting (and 3-5 years preferred for leadership/committee roles). Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA NBSTSA) preferred
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
- NH Medical Tech license required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Experience as a surgical technologist in an acute care setting 2-3 years preferred and 4 years preferred; committee and leadership experience 3-5 years preferred
