Surgical Tech

Collaborate with the surgical team by meticulously preparing the operating room, assisting the surgeon, and managing instruments and supplies while maintaining a sterile field. Perform scrub functions for general or minor specialty cases, generate case cart pick lists, and update physician preference lists. Demonstrate knowledge of safe patient positioning principles, aseptic technique, and operation of decontamination and sterilization units. Fulfill compliance education requirements, adhere to hospital and AORN policies, and establish positive relationships with patients and hospital personnel. Requires Surgical Technician Training Course graduation with one year of acute care experience or student clinical rotation at Glendale Memorial Hospital, plus Basic Life Support certification.
