Job Summary
Surgical Tech Student responsible for performing surgical tech/central sterile tech tasks under the direction of the OR Manager and Circulating Nurse. Duties include setting up instruments and equipment for procedures, sterilizing equipment and tracking supplies, preparing patients for surgery, passing instruments to the Surgeon, performing instrument and supply counts, recounting counts at the end of operations, and maintaining a sterile environment throughout the surgery.
