Job Summary
Surgical Tech/SPD per diem role in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center. Requires graduation from an accredited surgical technologist program, CPR certification, and a minimum of 1 year of related experience; CST preferred. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining surgical equipment, setting up instruments and supplies, assisting the operating team during procedures, handling sterile techniques, passing instruments, assisting with patient preparation and positioning, monitoring vital signs, and helping with postoperative care in the recovery area. Must be able to stand for long periods, lift and move patients, and work under supervision of surgeons, RNs, and other OR personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program
- CPR certification
- 1 year of experience in related field
- CPR required
- Must be certified to perform CPR with 0-2 years of clinical experience in a related field
- CST preferred
