Job Summary
Inspect and maintain all OR equipment, including microscopes, sterilizers, and phaco units, ensuring proper function before daily cases. Clean, sterilize, and manage instruments while maintaining sterility logs and equipment checklists. Monitor supply stock levels for suture, custom packs, and specialty items, advising the Facility Manager of shortages. Restock OR cabinets and assist Circulating RNs post-cases. Verify instrument and lens outdates monthly, maintaining OSHA chemical lists and SDS manuals. Keep ORs, instrument rooms, and sterilizer areas clean and orderly.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Tech
- one year of ASC or hospital experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the LASIK/Ophthalmology field
