Job Summary
Collaborate with the perioperative registered nurse to organize and administer age-specific care to patients while maintaining a safe environment and ensuring expected physiologic responses across the surgical suite. Scrub in service lines including robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases, and trauma. Maintain current NBSTSA certification and BLS Healthcare Provider certification. Work day shifts from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm with every other weekend and holiday coverage as a part-time role.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an Surgical Technician training program
- 2 – 3 years of experience
- Must have strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases and trauma
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)
- Must be able to make calls
- Must be flexible, able to multitask and be able to work independently
- Certified Surgical Technician (NBSTSA)
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification required with American Heart Association
- 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
- Every other weekend and Holiday
- Part Time
