Job Summary
Collaborate with perioperative registered nurses to organize and administer age-specific patient care, maintain a safe surgical environment, and ensure expected physiologic responses across the perioperative division. Scrub in diverse service lines including robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases, and trauma. Work independently while multitasking and making calls to support patient outcomes. Operate day shifts from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm with every other weekend and holiday coverage. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an Surgical Technician training program
- 2 – 3 years of experience
- Must have strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases and trauma
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)
- Must be able to make calls
- Must be flexible, able to multitask and be able to work independently
- Certified Surgical Technician (NBSTSA)
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification required with American Heart Association
- 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
- Every other weekend and Holiday
- Part Time
