Job Summary
Collaborate with the perioperative registered nurse to organize and administer age-specific care to patients while maintaining a safe environment and monitoring physiologic responses in the surgical suite. Scrub across multiple service lines including robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases, and trauma. Maintain current Certified Surgical Technician (NBSTSA) and BLS Healthcare Provider certifications. Work day shifts from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm with every other weekend and holiday coverage.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Surgical Technician training program
- 2 – 3 years of experience
- Strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases and trauma
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)
- Ability to make calls
- Flexibility
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently
- Certified Surgical Technician (NBSTSA)
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification with American Heart Association
- Availability for 7:00 am - 3:00 pm shifts
- Availability for every other weekend and Holiday
- Part Time status
