Surgical Tech OR (FT - Day) - Lansdale

Surgical Technician (FT Day) positioned to scrub multiple services in the Operating Room, performing intraoperative support to the surgical team and maintaining a sterile field. Responsibilities include setting up, preparing, and maintaining OR equipment and instruments; assisting with gowning/gloving; preparing the sterile field and draping the patient; providing thorough handoffs to relief personnel; counting sharps, sponges, and instruments with the circulating nurse; aiding in terminal sterilization and supply maintenance; and serving as a primary preceptor to other surgical team members. Requires graduation from a surgical technician training program, BLS and OR Technician certification, and up to one year of scrub experience; demonstrated knowledge of sterile technique, patient safety, and collaboration with a diverse perioperative team.
