Job Summary
Function as a scrub person during operative and invasive procedures, cleaning and preparing surgical instruments for processing and transport to decontamination areas. Assist with post-procedure cleaning of the operative room and prepare the space for subsequent patients. Perform all other duties as assigned. This role is available at West Health Surgery Center within the SCA Health network.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certification
- Completion of Surgical Technologist course
- Two years previous operating room experience
Desired Qualifications
- ASC experience preferred
- ORT certification preferred
- Successfully completed a training program for surgical technology in the armed forces of the United States, the National Guard or in the United States Public Health Services
