Job Summary
Perform scrub duties in the operating room, providing patient care for clients of various age groups under the direction of a registered nurse. Demonstrate higher-level critical thinking and problem-solving skills while functioning in partnership with licensed staff across orthopedics, general surgery, ophthalmology, ENT, robotic-assisted procedures, bariatrics, gynecology, podiatry, and endoscopy. Maintain AORN standards to ensure safe, efficient care in a Level III Trauma Center environment that handles over 4,000 annual procedures and urgent emergent cases.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Graduate of a Surgical Technology program
- 3 years of surgical tech experience
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
Desired Qualifications
- CST - Certified Surgical Technologist
