Surgical Tech II - Operating Room, Evenings

Perform necessary duties in the scrub role, demonstrating advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Prepare for each surgical procedure by reviewing preference cards, obtaining supplies, and setting up instruments aseptically. Facilitate procedures by draping, passing instruments, and sutures while ensuring accurate post-procedure counts and specimen care. Function in partnership with licensed staff by maintaining an organized back table, reporting patient changes, and serving as a patient advocate. Perform patient care duties under a registered nurse's direction, including site preparation, positioning, and transporting patients. Serves as a preceptor for peers and prepares case carts and operating rooms.
