Job Summary
Surgical Tech II in the Main Operating Room at Saint Agnes Medical Center, Fresno, CA, with rotating shifts and full-time status. Requires completion of a surgical technologist training program or 18 months of scrub tech experience in an acute care OR (substitution allowed), plus 2 years of acute scrub tech experience and at least one year encompassing two specialty areas (orthopedics, neurosurgery, robotics, etc.). Must hold current AHA CPR. CST certification is preferred. Responsibilities include providing sterile technique and instrument support during procedures, assisting the surgical team, and maintaining OR readiness. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of a surgical technologist training program
- Eighteen (18) months of scrub tech experience in an acute care operating room (may substitute for training program)
- Two (2) years of acute surgical technologist experience
- One (1) year of the above experience must include at least two specialty areas (e.g., orthopedics, neurosurgery, robotics)
- Current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
