Job Summary
Maintain and prepare the surgical suite, handle intraoperative instruments, and manage the sterile field while evaluating changing conditions during procedures. Respond appropriately to surgical situations and maintain knowledge of surgical protocols. May serve as a preceptor as needed. Requires a minimum of one year of Surgical Technologist experience and an associate degree or accredited surgical technology training program. Full-time, variable shifts with a sign-on bonus available.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Associate degree or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or equivalent training program (military, etc.)
- 1 year of equivalent experience
- Minimum of 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience
- Clinical rotations do count as experience
- Drug-free workplace
- Compliance with MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and Influenza vaccine requirement
Desired Qualifications
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
