Job Summary
Function as a scrub person during operative and invasive procedures. Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport them to decontamination areas. Assist with post-procedure cleaning of the operative room and preparation for subsequent patients. Perform all other duties as assigned. This role requires a Certified Surgical Technologist with a recognized program graduation and preferred current CST certification. BLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Graduate of a recognized and accredited Surgical Technologist Program
- Successful completion of BLS Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- Prior Experience as a Surgical Technologist
- Current Surgical Technologist certification
