Job Summary
Function as a scrub person during operative and invasive procedures. Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport them to decontamination areas. Assist with post-procedure cleaning of the operative room and prepare the space for subsequent patients. Perform all other duties as assigned. This Certified Surgical Technologist role is part of SCA Health's network of ambulatory surgical centers, supporting physicians in delivering efficient, value-based care.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Graduate of a recognized and accredited Surgical Technologist Program
- Current Surgical Technologist certification
- Successful completion of BLS Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- Prior Experience as a Surgical Technologist
