Job Summary
Function as a scrub person during operative and invasive procedures. Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport them to decontamination areas. Assist with post-procedure cleaning of the operative room and prepare the space for subsequent patients. Perform all other duties as assigned. This part-time role is available at Palomar Surgical Center Escondido. Candidates must be a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with a recognized surgical technologist program degree, high school graduation, and current BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Graduate of a recognized and accredited Surgical Technologist Program
- Current Surgical Technologist certification
- Successful completion of BLS Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- Prior Experience as a Surgical Technologist
