Job Summary
Perioperative Surgical Support Advanced Technician provides patient-care under the direction of the perioperative leader, performing designated clinical procedures and non-clinical tasks essential to patient care. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, infection prevention, and utilization of unit technology (pagers, Rover, etc.). Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; BLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days; CNA may be required per location. Full-time position at Mercy Hospital St. Louis with benefits including medical/dental/vision, PTO, tuition support, and retirement plans for 32+ hours per pay period.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days
- One year of clinical experience in a hospital setting (OR experience preferred)
- CNA may be required per location of employment
