Job Summary
Purchasing lead for surgical services overseeing implants, supplies, and equipment for Surgery, MRI, Anesthesia and PACU. Roles include issuing purchase orders, contract pricing alignment, inventory optimization, cost and quality initiatives with vendors, supporting recall processes, and leading a skilled supply chain team within a hybrid work arrangement onsite at St. Paul, MN. Strong emphasis on collaboration with Surgical staff, Strategic Sourcing, and Value Analysis initiatives to ensure patient care priorities drive purchasing decisions.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years’ experience in a surgery center.
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated critical thinking, problem/conflict resolution, supervisory skills.
- Knowledge of purchasing and inventory management software.
- Knowledge of orthopedic equipment/implants.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated customer service focus.

- Bachelor’s degree
- Certification as a Surgical Technician or equivalent experience
