Job Summary
Assist in providing nursing care to designated populations under the supervision of an Operating Room Registered Nurse. Apply scientific principles in adhering to sterile technique, including gowning, gloving, draping, scrubbing, and passing instrumentation using aseptic technique. Collaborate with the circulating nurse in room preparation, supply selection, and equipment organization while creating and monitoring the sterile field. Handle patient transfers and positioning, maintain equipment and instrumentation in proper functional condition, and assess and respond appropriately to emergency situations. Act as a patient advocate through safe and ethical practice and demonstrate proper use of sterilizers. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalency and Certified Surgical Technician certification with 1-2 years of experience. Full-time weekend shift with a $10,000 sign-on bonus for a 2-year commitment.
