Surgical Scheduling Specialist - Neurosurgery

Coordinate neurosurgical procedures from start to finish by scheduling hospital and ambulatory surgery center procedures using electronic systems and building cases in Epic. Arrange operating room time, pre-operative and post-operative appointments, and required imaging or testing while serving as the primary contact for patients. Ensure all orders, consents, and documentation are completed accurately and submit authorizations to the prior authorization team. Communicate with providers, hospitals, and clinical partners to maintain seamless care coordination and participate in department meetings.
