Job Summary
Schedule surgical procedures, consultations, and follow-up visits while coordinating logistics with providers, hospitals, and patients. Confirm receipt of required authorizations, clearances, and documentation, then communicate pre-operative and post-operative instructions. Maintain accurate scheduling records within the practice management system and manage provider calendars and appointment changes. Ensure timely communication with patients and clinical staff throughout the process. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of surgical scheduling or medical office experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare workflows
