Job Summary
Coordinate surgical scheduling, patient registration, and front desk operations to support a seamless perioperative experience. Serve as a liaison between patients, physicians, and clinical teams, ensuring accurate scheduling, registration, and documentation. Tasks include verifying demographics and insurance, collecting copayments, inputting patient information into systems, greeting patients, answering inquiries, and maintaining patient records with confidentiality. Contribute to quality improvement, safety, and risk management initiatives, and perform general clerical duties to support center operations. Requires a high school diploma or GED; healthcare or surgical scheduling experience is preferred; strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills; proficiency with Windows-based scheduling/registration platforms. No nights, weekends, holidays, or call.
