Job Summary

Represent New World Medical's surgical glaucoma product line to eye care professionals within a territory spanning Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee. Achieve territory and corporate sales objectives by selling products to hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers while providing technical consultation on appropriate product use. Execute a strategic routing schedule to maximize revenue from high-potential customers, conducting daily pre-booked calls and introducing physicians to our solutions. Facilitate wet labs with targeted teaching institutions to train residents and physicians, and network with customers at conventions and regional meetings. Respond to all customer requests within twelve hours, resolve issues, and manage administrative duties including expense reports. Travel up to 75% of the time, requiring a valid driver's license and ability to lift 50 pounds. Earn an annual compensation of $228,000-$278,000 plus uncapped commission and overachievement bonuses.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license and passport with no major driving violations
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
  • Ability to travel up to 75%
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with outside B2B sales in the Pharmaceutical and/or medical device industry
  • Vendor credentialing experience in the medical field
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Presentation skills and ability to present to rooms of up to 30 people
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to communicate to individuals with different backgrounds/areas of focus
  • Organizational skills and ability to keep accurate records/receipts
  • Creative self-starter with the ability to complete tasks
  • Mechanically inclined and ability to demonstrate products in real time scenarios
  • Creative thinking and ability to design immediate solutions
  • Follow through to deliver results in a timely manner
  • Follow up to consistently message necessary contacts and maintain relationships

Desired Qualifications

  • 4-year degree strongly preferred
  • 5 or more years of Ophthalmic/Ophthalmic surgical/medical device experience with existing strong customer relationships and a demonstrated track record of performance
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM preferred
