Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient-centered care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with clinical protocols and physician orders. Scrub in for surgeries, assisting the team with instruments and supplies while maintaining sterile environments. Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and document findings accurately, responding to medical emergencies and participating in code team activities. Collaborate with interdisciplinary professionals to develop individualized care plans, provide patient and family education, and advocate for patient rights. Adhere to infection control protocols, operate medical equipment, and participate in audits, chart reviews, and performance improvement initiatives to enhance outcomes. Maintain regular attendance and demonstrate responsible decision-making in care planning and delegation.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting
- Strong knowledge of the nursing process and clinical nursing practices
- Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings effectively
- Proficient in administering medications and monitoring for side effects
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documenting patient care
- Knowledge of safety standards, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure
- BCLS - Basic Life Support

- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation
