Job Summary
Surgical Registered Nurse General position at Novant Health Coastal Carolina Medical Center (PRN). Responsibilities include performing and documenting the surgical time-out verification, monitoring patient vital signs and fluid balance during procedures, anticipating the needs of the surgical team, handling non-sterile tasks and documentation, assisting with patient positioning, and coordinating with OR staff. Requires RN licensure, 2 years of relevant experience, and current nursing credentials; advanced facility certifications as required and potential specialty certifications preferred. Schedule offers flexible 10- or 12-hour shifts in an on-site operating room setting in Hardeeville, SC.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of relevant experience, required
- Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, required
- Advanced certifications as required per facility, required
- Specialty Certification, preferred
- Education: 2 year/Associate Degree, required; 4 year/Bachelor's degree, preferred
- Board-approved refresher if license inactive for five years or more and reactivation within one year
