Job Summary
Assist in cardiovascular operating room procedures by obtaining patient histories, performing assessments, and interpreting diagnostic studies. Provide direct treatment and management of conditions through prescriptive authority while counseling patients and families on treatment options. Document healthcare delivery in accordance with specialty standards and participate in staff orientation. Requires board certification, prescriptive authority, and minimum one year experience in cardiothoracic surgical first assisting with proficiency in endoscopic and open conduit harvest. Salary range starts at $140,000.
Required Qualifications
- A board-certified Physician Assistant in good standing and credentialed by the Texas Medical Board with Prescriptive Authority

- Ability to work efficiently and flexibly in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance
