Job Summary

Diagnose and treat adult cardiovascular and thoracic conditions in the operating room by obtaining patient histories, performing assessments, and interpreting diagnostic studies. Provide direct treatment and management with prescriptive authority while counseling patients on treatment options and community resources. Document care delivery in accordance with specialty standards and participate in staff orientation. Requires board certification, Texas Medical Board credentialed status with prescriptive authority, and minimum one year experience in cardiothoracic surgical first assisting with proficiency in endoscopic and open conduit harvest. Salary range starts at $140,000.

Required Qualifications
