Job Summary
Conduct surgical pathology and cytopathology services across general and subspecialty areas including GI/liver, breast, GYN, GU, and thoracic. Teach and mentor residents, fellows, and medical students while participating in multidisciplinary conferences and collaborative care. Engage in scholarly activity through clinical or translational research and document findings using institutional systems. Operate within a high-volume academic medical center environment featuring a team of eight physicians, two Ph.Ds, and three Pathology Assistants. Join a collaborative multidisciplinary group of clinicians, surgeons, oncologists, and researchers at George Washington University Medical Center.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic & Clinical Pathology
- Fellowship training and experience in Cytopathology
- Eligible for medical licensure in the District of Columbia
