Job Summary
Organize and administer age-specific care to patients in the surgical suite while collaborating with the perioperative registered nurse to maintain a safe environment and ensure expected physiologic responses. Scrub across multiple service lines including robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases, and trauma. Maintain current Certified Surgical Technician certification and BLS Healthcare Provider certification. Work independently with strong communication skills, making calls as needed. Shift runs 11:00 am to 7:00 pm with every other weekend and holiday rotation.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an OR Technician training program
- 2 – 3 years of experience
- Strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases and trauma
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)
- Ability to make calls
- Flexibility
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently
- Certified Surgical Technician certification
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification with American Heart Association
- Availability for Every other weekend and Holiday
- Full Time employment
