Job Summary
Collaborate with the perioperative registered nurse to organize and administer age-specific care for patients, maintain a safe surgical environment, and ensure expected physiologic responses across the perioperative division. Scrub across multiple service lines including robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases, and trauma. Maintain Certified Surgical Technician and BLS Healthcare Provider certifications. Work 11:00 am to 7:00 pm shifts, every other weekend and holidays, as a full-time hourly employee.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an OR Technician training program
- 2 – 3 years of experience
- Must have strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases and trauma
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)
- Must be able to make calls
- Must be flexible, able to multitask and be able to work independently
- Certified Surgical Technician, required
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification required with American Heart Association
- 11:00 am - 7:00 pm
- Every other weekend and Holiday
- Full Time
