Job Summary
Collaborate with the perioperative registered nurse to organize and administer age-specific patient care, maintain a safe surgical environment, and ensure expected physiologic responses across the perioperative division. Scrub diverse service lines including robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases, and trauma. Maintain Certified Surgical Technician and BLS Healthcare Provider certifications while working independently with strong communication and multitasking skills. Work day shifts from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm with every other weekend and holiday coverage.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an OR Technician training program
- 2 – 3 years of experience
- Strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases and trauma
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)
- Ability to make calls
- Flexibility
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently
- Certified Surgical Technician
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification with American Heart Association
- Availability for Every other weekend and Holiday
- Full Time employment
