Job Summary
Collaborate with the perioperative registered nurse to organize and administer age-specific care to patients, maintain a safe environment that facilitates patient outcomes, and ensure physiologic responses to surgery are as expected in the surgical suite and across the perioperative division. Scrub across service lines including robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases, and trauma. Maintain Certified Surgical Technician certification and current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification. Work day shifts from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm with every other weekend and holiday coverage.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an OR Technician training program
- 2 – 3 years of experience
- Strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases and trauma
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)
- Ability to make calls
- Flexibility
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently
- Certified Surgical Technician certification
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification with American Heart Association
- Availability for Every other weekend and Holiday
- Full Time employment status
