Job Summary
Collaborate with the perioperative registered nurse to organize and administer age-specific patient care, maintain a safe surgical environment, and ensure expected physiologic responses across the perioperative division. Scrub service lines including robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases, and trauma. Maintain Certified Surgical Technician certification and current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification. Work independently while making calls, multitasking, and communicating effectively with the team. Schedule runs 11:00 am to 7:00 pm every other weekend and holiday.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an OR Technician training program
- 2 – 3 years of experience
- Strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases and trauma
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)
- Ability to make calls
- Flexibility
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently
- Certified Surgical Technician
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification with American Heart Association
- Availability for Every other weekend and Holiday
- Full Time employment
