Job Summary
Collaborate with the perioperative registered nurse to organize and administer age-specific care to patients, maintain a safe environment, and ensure expected physiologic responses across the surgical suite and perioperative division. Scrub service lines including robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases, and trauma. Maintain current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification and Certified Surgical Technician status. Work 11:00 am to 7:00 pm shifts every other weekend and holiday as a full-time employee.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an OR Technician training program
- 2 – 3 years of experience
- Strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases and trauma
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)
- Ability to make calls
- Flexibility
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently
- Certified Surgical Technician certification
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification with American Heart Association
- Availability for 11:00 am - 7:00 pm shift
- Availability for every other weekend and Holiday
- Full Time employment status
