Job Summary
Collaborate with the perioperative registered nurse to organize and administer age-specific patient care in the surgical suite, maintaining an environment that facilitates safe patient outcomes. Scrub across multiple service lines including robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases, and trauma. Ensure patient physiologic responses to surgery are as expected while functioning independently with strong communication skills. Work the 11:00 am to 7:00 pm day shift, rotating every other weekend and holidays. Maintain Certified Surgical Technician and current BLS Healthcare Provider certification. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an OR Technician training program
- 2 – 3 years of experience
- Strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases and trauma
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)
- Ability to make calls
- Flexibility
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently
- Certified Surgical Technician
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification with American Heart Association
- Availability for Every other weekend and Holiday
- Full Time employment
