Job Summary
Collaborate with the perioperative registered nurse to organize and administer age-specific care for patients across the surgical suite and perioperative division. Maintain an environment that facilitates safe patient outcomes while ensuring physiologic responses to surgery remain as expected. Scrub service lines including robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases, and trauma. Work independently with strong communication skills to make calls and multitask during the 11:00 am to 7:00 pm shift, rotating every other weekend and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an OR Technician training program
- 2 – 3 years of experience
- Strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases and trauma
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)
- Ability to make calls
- Flexibility
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently
- Certified Surgical Technician
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification with American Heart Association
- Availability for Every other weekend and Holiday
- Full Time employment
