Job Summary
Collaborate with the perioperative registered nurse to organize and administer age-specific care to patients in the surgical suite, ensuring physiologic responses remain as expected. Scrub across multiple service lines including robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases, and trauma. Maintain an environment that facilitates safe patient outcomes while functioning independently with strong communication skills. Work evening shifts from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, rotating every other weekend and holidays. Maintain Certified Surgical Technician and BLS Healthcare Provider certifications. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an OR Technician training program
- 2 – 3 years of experience
- Strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases and trauma
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)
- Ability to make calls
- Flexibility
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently
- Certified Surgical Technician
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification with American Heart Association
- Availability for 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm shifts
- Availability for every other weekend and Holiday
- Full Time employment
