Job Summary
Conduct surgical procedures and assist surgeons under the direction of a Registered Nurse, managing patient care before, during, and after operations. Scrub cases across multiple service lines including robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic, and trauma. Maintain Certified Surgical Technician and NBSTSA certifications, along with current BLS Healthcare Provider certification. Work evening shifts from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm with alternating weekends, holidays, and call coverage. Make calls and communicate effectively with the team while multitasking independently. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an OR Technician training program
- 2 – 3 years of experience
- Strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases and trauma
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)
- Ability to make calls
- Flexibility
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently
- Certified Surgical Technician
- NBSTSA Certification
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification with American Heart Association
- Availability for 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm shifts
- Full Time employment
- Alternating Weekends, holidays and call coverage
