Job Summary
Assume responsibility before, during, and after surgery as a member of the surgical team under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Scrub cases across robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic, and trauma service lines while maintaining excellent communication and multitasking skills. Work independently in the evening shift from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm with alternating weekends, holidays, and call coverage. Maintain current BLS certification and NBSTSA certification. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an OR Technician training program
- 2 – 3 years of experience
- Strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases and trauma
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)
- Ability to make calls
- Flexibility
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently
- Certified Surgical Technician certification
- NBSTSA Certification
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification with American Heart Association
- Availability for 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm shifts
- Full Time employment status
- Willingness to work alternating weekends, holidays and call coverage
