Job Summary
Scrub for service lines including robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases, and trauma. Collaborate with the surgeon and registered nurse to deliver patient care before, during, and after surgery. Maintain strong communication skills, make necessary calls, and independently multitask in the operating room. Work evening shifts from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm with alternating weekends, holidays, and call coverage. Maintain Certified Surgical Technician, NBSTSA, and BLS certifications. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an OR Technician training program
- 2 – 3 years of experience
- Strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases and trauma
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)
- Ability to make calls
- Flexibility
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently
- Certified Surgical Technician
- NBSTSA Certification
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification with American Heart Association
- Availability for 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm shifts
- Full Time employment
- Alternating Weekends, holidays and call coverage
