Job Summary
Scrub for surgeries across robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic, and trauma service lines while assisting the surgical team before, during, and after procedures. Act under the direction of a Registered Nurse, assuming appropriate responsibility for patient care and utilizing strong multitasking and independent work skills. Maintain current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification with the American Heart Association and a Certified Surgical Technician credential. Work full-time evening shifts with alternating weekends, holidays, and call coverage. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an OR Technician training program
- Strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases and trauma
- Certified Surgical Technician
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification with American Heart Association
- Must be flexible
- Must be able to multitask
- Must be able to work independently
- Alternating Weekends, holidays and call coverage
